That post of Moderating is too complex to understand. I just have a simple question. Say i am coming first in a subject and someone beats me in the HSC.
Who does the mark favour? Me for coming frst in assesment or the person that came first in HSC?

You would get that person's raw HSC exam mark as your internal mark (as you are ranked first), and your own scaled HSC exam mark as your exam mark. Does tha answer your question?
