hmmm i actually meant the historical investigation that is part of the modern and ancient syllabus...its the one where you have to do an independant assignment on something of your interest. perhpas you guys havn't been given it yet.

Welll anyway, i'm doing my ancient one on contemporary mass graves (we could do it from any period of history as long as it was archaeology related) and my modern one on communist china. Anyway, it'd be good to hear from anyone else whose been given the assignment.

I should probably look at my assignment sheet :S

My ancient History tasks

Task #1

Concerned with who owns the past, based on one of two scenarios. 1, Should mummies be kept under wraps? 2, what should be done to save the Sphinx?
We have to present an oral report of about 5 minutes and a research essay.

Task #2
Basically a historical investigation based on The Battle of Troy, answering certain questions. 1500 words

I know the Modern History people are studying the Romanovs (Can’t spell)

For Modern, I haven't gotten all the details yet, but I'm planning on doing it on Al Capone/prohibition.

Ancient History - Oral Historical Investigation on the Etruscans.
Modern History - Oral Historical Investigation on the Cuban Revolution.
For both we became a teacher for the lesson :)
