Hey guys!
Do you guys think they'll prescribe a speech from the selected speeches for the Trials? I know last year for the HSC external examinations they prescribed Aung San Suu Kyi. Do you think they will again this year?

^I think if they decided to do it last year to prevent schools teaching only two speeches/poems etc., they will do it again.

It's best to know them all. Which is a shame cause one of my poems is like 5 pages and the rest are short :p

I have a feeling they will too. Aung San Suu Kyi has been in the media alot lately, maybe that's a possibility. I guess I'll have to go through them all too. I honestly think the speeches they prescribed are...dry.Besides Margaret Atwood's and Anwar Sadat's, that is. Goodluck with yours!

For the trials: really depends upon your school.
For the HSC: I'd definitely prepare to have to use any of the 7 speeches.

Go in with a prepared response with two speeches. Know a bunch of techniques/quotes from each of the others as a hedge against contingency.
