today i had an exam and it asked me to find the change in temperature and it gave u the /\H but no mass.. i dont remember the question but how would u go about answering a question like that... where u had to find the change in temperature rather than the heat.

its hard to say without knowing the full question but i think it would be like:

use the temperature change and /\H to find how many moles then calculate the mass from the molar mass and then go from there.

it said the change in heat was -160kj coz it was exothermic.... um, there was no mass....it said one mole of Ba(oh)2 reacted.
that was all the info im pretty sure.. then it just said find the change in temperature.
it was weird coz i ended up getting a negative number.
i went like
/\h=mc/\T

so /\t=/\h / mc

see this is what happens when you forget you have a chemistry exam.
