ne1 here me out here

well basically when i turn my computer on my graphics all seemed to be screwed ie its a dark greenish, grayish colour. It still loads to the desktop and everything is fine except for my graphics ( hope im making sense). Everything was fine last night and then today when i turned my computer on this happens.
I dont know if this is a monitor or graphics card issue.
I had this problem a while back and and fixed it and now this same problem has flared up again.

ne1 know the solution to this problem?

1. reboot ur comp about 3 times to check if you get lucky
2. go into your monitor properties (on desktop, right click empty space, properties) check your colour settings haven't been played around with or the advanced settings haven't been accidentally changed
3. re-install graphics drivers :)

Since you didn't say anything, I take it the above 3 suggestions failed?

Check the monitor cable is not loose or damaged.

As much as we would like to help you, you don't give us very much to work with at all. You can't possibly get more vague than some "error"

So out of the hundreds of thousands of possible error messages you can get, I'll just randomly pick one, and suggest you to "Press Enter to continue", and see if it helps.

I remember overhearing a conversation when I took my car in for service one time...
"I'm having a problem with my car"
"Whats wrong with it?"
"It doesn't move"
"Have you tried checking for fuel and starting the engine?"
"It doesn't move!!"

I assume you have an ATI graphics card? Try installing newer (or older) drivers, and DirectX.

There are more than one version of drivers. When you reinstalled them, you probably used the CD that came with the card? You can download new drivers from ATI's website - if you are already using the newest, it can be worth a go to try installing older drivers.

You can try reinstall DirectX 9 as well.

Go to the ATI website, click on Drivers and Software, click on the version of Windows you are using, click on the Radeon link.
