hey , i think there are 2 more accounting modules lacking !!acct1501 and acct1511 are considered core( they are in the 36 uoc requirement), therefore we need to do 7 more , so total would be 9 acct modules . m i right ?

You are wrong. The fact that they are core allows you to do the LEGT subjects. Go to the ICAA websites and look up the lists of required subjects

If you do INFS1602, you'll own it and your WAM will thank you for it.

Yeh I know, but I plan on applying to the big 4 and don't they prefer CA? That's why I left it for my last semester...still undecided.

If that's the case then you should probably do LEGT2571 even though it's a tough course.

I might have to do it as well. :(

No. Like you said, acct1501 and acct1511 are counted as core subjects...but they are also included in the 7 subjects required for an accounting major.

so the 2 core (both acct1501 and acct1511) can be counted as two of the 7 subjects required ? if that is the case , what are those LEGT subjects counted as ? electives ? but i thought we only have 12 uoc elective?

:p

that course is incredibly hard.. it was my lowest scoring course in my whole degree so far. i think i got like 54  even though i do a tax major, 2751 is easily the hardest of all core legt courses!
TEE HEE

i didnt even need to do it.. ive decided not to go for my CA lmao >_<

movie hunter - out of the LEGT courses required by ca, i.e. 1711,2721,2741,2751, 2 will be electives and the other 2 will fit in as well because essentially you're only doing 5 courses to get your accounting major instead of 7.
