I'm sure none of them are realistic, but which is most realistic? Boston Legal? Law and Order? A few I'm forgetting?

I think Law and Order is a little more realistic than Boston Legal.

L&O actually has some really interesting episodes that are based on actual law. There's a cool one where a guy and his pregnant girlfriend decide they don't want the kid, but can't get an aborition, so he whacks her around in the stomach, and the fetus dies (consitutes GBH to the mother) and then the mother dies because of some bizzare unforseen complication and he gets charged under constructive murder because her death was immediately after a serious offence (GBH) and he only needed the intent for that initial act. Which would work in the AU law system too. So yeah, clever scenarios.

Whether the main characters are the defendants, the plaintiffs or the prosecution, they always close last.

Judge Judy. Apart from the fact that this is not actually a "law drama"
