anyone know if I have to do stat 150, even though I did stat170 to be eligble for CA after my accounting degree?

edit: i did stat170 2 years ago, as it was compulsory part of the degree, now it seems as though they have changed it to being stat150 as compulsory component

No we don't have to take STAT150. STAT170 will qualify us for our CA.

CA admission looks at the year you were admitted to your degree, not the most recent handbook your degree uses.

If at the time you started your degree (say 2015), Stat170 was an accepted course by the CAANZ then it is fine.

You can check the list of subjects you require on their website somewhere

I would expect it's HD, or in the case of cohorts with overall very high marks it's probably too 10 or so

FYI Enrolment in units for Session 3 2017

Enrolment for Session 3 is open. Enrolling now will increase your chance of securing a class timetable at your preferred time

Guys Im so cut. I was hoping to change my degree because I'm finding finance boring. I was hoping to change to eco, but I d have to do that as a concurrent degree and I wouldnt be able to do all my exemptions for actuarial so it defeats the point. Then I can't do any of the other doubles because I'm doing summer school.

I've done the subject and it's by far the worst subject I've ever done.

And I was so excited because the content had so much potential to be taught in a more inviting and insightful way.

There's a difference between teaching and spoon feeding. The subject did neither.
