The most relevant sign has to be the sign that says the grass needs a little bit of rest or something. Can't remember the exact phrase at the moment. I can relate to this at this stage of the semester!

If anyone is attempting global leadership programme apparently ISYS100 is 60 points so may be worth considering doing.

How was everyone's first week back at University?

Are people who previously caught the train coping with the new buses?
SL buses are actually not too bad from what I've experienced so far. Sometimes my trip is actually shorter than if I caught the train because the buses are so frequent. The number of people they pay to stand around is bit excessive though.

I like how clean and non damaged the insides are currently. Makes a change from the other buses I semi frequently use.

Always check before starting assignments if they want page numbers for intext references, nothing harder then having to refind quotes or where you got your ideas from a 200 page plus paper.

Econ241 started out as such a scary subject but really, if you ignore all the useless bs on most of the slides, the actual content you get tested on isn't that hard.
People have told me it gets easier the closer you are to exams. Are you finding that?

I find the lectures useless, but the tutor and tutorials pretty useful. I agree the slides are way more complex in a lot of the weeks then we will ever need to go

Whats the level of mathematics like?
There will be lectures with 30-40 slides worth of deriving formulas. I would believe the lecturer if he told me a formula does something. I don't need you to go into incredibly complex detail trying to prove it to me. But the actual mathematics that we do is simple, just plugging shit into a formula.
