MQID and unimail... (1 Viewer)

did anyone get an MQID? i kinda rushed thru my enrolment not bothering to read anything. i remember logging into estudent but i don't think that is the MQID. i followed the instructions on the other thread but got no where with it. anyone else have any luck?

oh and what is our email? do we even get a uni email? do we use our MQID or student id to log in?

oh and when can we change out units and timetable??

ur MQID numba is on d timetable sheet they gave out, on d top right hand corner.

login to email using mqid

last yr u could only change ur time table at uni in e7b when uni started. but with this yr's intro of online enrolment for single degrees there might be something new.

no i got nothing.

i can't remember if someone on here said this, or someone in real lfie, i think it was real life, they said our e-mail addresses will be posted in the mail, so maybe out id comes then as well?

is the MQID the same thing that will get us into the online section, which was in another thread - i.e. the section where you can get the 'syllabus' etc.

i believe we can change units and timetable from the 1st march, (from people here) but i could swear i read you can change them immediately.

yeah i think it comes in the mail, and library staff or the helpdesk at level 1 of the library can give it to you

ok so we need:

1 student number, to get into the students online, plus password we made up on the day

1 SAM id name and password

1 MQID, used for access to the lib stuff, and 'syllubi' online

yep i've logged into estudent with the password i changed it with. you should contact the uni to get your account reset. have you tried using your DOB? DDMMYYYY?

go to that site (thanks to the person who posted it up in another thread!! )

your MDIQ also acts as your email address, so it would be "mqid"@student.mq.edu.au

iambored, webct isn't a syllabus. it's just a website some lecturers use to distribute online quizes, hw answers, announcements etc

theres nothing on webct. the lecturer has to enable it for that particular unit. plus not all lectures use webct...

ok just loged on to MACQ uni email thingy and sent an email to myself ; to another account of course

whats with the stuffed up domain :

mines ..

its whole mouthfull to say - and try to pass on to someone !~~

i don't know where the .ocs part came from


but if you send an e mail to yourself, it gives a different address in where you check your e mail on the mac site to what you sent it to.
