It's probably less about the guy being asian than his poor command of english. It doesn't really matter what his specific ethnicity was. Complaining about the quality of spoken english amongst different ethnicities is petty but it's not that much of an offence and probably something you'll have to get used too.

I'm not sure if you are qualified to speak on behalf of the subjective minds of women around the world. Especially since you are not a women and not Muslim. I have no doubt that many women who live in the Islamic world are very happy with their life, mainly because they see no other life. Just like the 'white trash' that exists in the USA or Australia that has never left their suburb. They are happy with their lot, but only because they don't know or have experienced any other way of life.

It would be like a Muslim male suggesting that a christian female would prefer to life under his watchful glare than in the immoral western world. From his objective point of view he is right. Just as you are right from your objective point of view.

The fact that muslims have the hide to get on here and say that women are treated as equals, exposes that muslims can say just about anything they want to.. But at the core the religion, or at least the followers of the religion, have sinister motives.
