I think 8 is C. The hardened body parts facilitated the expansion of the animal's interal structure, allowing them to grow larger than if they had nothing.

It could no way be A, since we see a dissapearence in the fossil record of Ediacaran animals straight after the cambrain event, and logically, they would of easily been wiped out after the development of predation.

nah mate i rekon 8 was D. i read somewhere about oxygen conc being to high in terrestrial environments for softbodied organisms.

im pretty sure no. 10 was B as UV light is being measured ?

So.. UV light is the dependant and the gas chamber and its contents are indcependent? I'm so bad at these type questions... haha.

yep, the dependent = the results, because the dependent variable depends on the independent variable

for 8, it was tricky.
i thought that the "larger body size" and "oxygen" answers were both possibly correct. i put the oxygen one though

and yeah, im pretty sure that 10 was dependent
