Glen88: On Question 18 those 5 symbols are from left to right, 1 to 5
Magnetic Tape, Direct Access Storage, Online Output, Online Input, Paper Document Output (From memory, may be wrong)
So 1 and 2 can be input or output, 3 is output, 4 is input, 5 is output. Therefore D is the most correct as it states 1, 2 and 4 as input and 1, 2, 3 and 5 as output.

Yay that's about 17-18. But I made a stoopid mistake on the last Q and my brain completely skipped the hire/own skates and it just chose B.

Also how I thought about 4 -- probably the easiest question, I chose D, just thought that'd most likely be one of those sites that have useless adds and are full of popups. Because it was a very general term and wasn't specified to a country.

I said it was B, corrupt transmission, but parity bit was correct, because the amount of 0's was the same, and it said parity bit 0 for both of them...

Yes!!!

Bob, i had 2 different answers:

15. A (the system was built with partial functionality, but it was tried just in one region, so it was either phased or pilot, i put pilot though, the second part was obviously direct, so i put A instead of C)

and

19. B (there was an error with the transmission, but the parity check wouldn't detect any errors, so it said that the parity check was correct, so i put B instead of A)
yup, that's the exact same two differences i have.

let's pray together :) If ours are correct that is 20/20!

I'm pretty much certain that 15 would have been A. Region usually refers to one section of the organisation as opposed to one section of the new system.

as for 19, i was torn between A and B, but put A in the end. It was kind of confusing because the parity was "incorrect" in that it did not detect error, but it was correct, as parity check was both even and therefore correct.
