OK .. MC questions were too long winded, in some cases, for the 1 mark they were worth
here's my best guesses .. after a few glasses champagne to help me forget my loses in the race

1D 2A 3D 4D 5B 6C 7D 8B 9C 10B
11B 12A 13C 14C 15A 16B 17D 18C 19A 20C

revised
6 could be B or C - let the markers decide - wont be the first time there was 2 right answers

17D cause thats the only way its works in Access

i thought question 6 was C, as the user types in their pin and withdrawal amount, aren't they also a participant as they are involved in the collection process.

i thought 17 was D. it says that the barcode is unique to the video cassette, ie a primary key in the video table therefore a many to one between transaction and video tables.

i got A for question 19 as the checksum is 11 and there are 11 ones in the transmitted packet so checksum will not pick up an error. is this the correct interpretation???

overall i thought it was a poor multiple choice section. your'e right too wordy.

also gateways, bridges and hubs are a hangover from the old computing courses. the terms have generally changed haven't they to switches, routers VPN's and cable modems...etc?

"...best describes the content...."

it looks like a section of html code to me, although you are correct, it is plain text but i think A is a better answer.

if data flow diagrams describe the flow of data in systems and external entities are included in data flow diagrams then doesn't it follow they must be part of the system, ie participants?

Qu 2 PDF (Portable Document Format) relates usually to Adobe Acrobat files .. but I was thinking the question is asking about what's in the box.

It IS! The quetsion says that the text in the box is from a file. In this file, html code is used. So the best answer would be a html document.
