I've got my mind set on becoming a music teacher. So ...
1. B Music/B Education - UNSW
2. B Music (Music Education) - USYD
3. B Music (+Dip Ed) - UWS & Wollongong.

Is it possible to study composition without doing a music degree? i.e. majoring in composition in BA or something...

Yeah - I plan to do a music major in a BA

1) USYD BA
2) UNSW BA
3) ANU BA

Are my first three preferences. All have music majors available in their BA. The sydney and ANU ones I know that there are composition options within the major.

That said, is it possible, by DET standards to become music teacher just by having a major in Music in a BA? or do we need to do the B Mus?
