hi, i was wondering if anyone could tell me something about the southern cross university music course?
i think i'd like to combine it with secondary teaching or something like that to become a music teacher... i don't know much because it's a newly thought up option for me. what do you think?

Have you checked out the scu/uac sites? That's probably your best initial port of call. I have a friend doing the music course and she's liking it. The only thing is that Lismore is only a very fine step up from your current living-situation in the cardboard box. "Anything about the course" is pretty broad; what do you actually want to know?

haha, i have no problem with that, i live in lismore...*sigh, i can't believe i admitted it out in public...

is it a good course compared to ones at UQ or SAE or Griffith or any other unis you can think of?
i'm thinking of doing music and education but that kinda narrows my options so i think i might do music and law instead.
and the scu site sucks ass, it doesn't tell you how you apply or where you can download application forms and such.

Heh heh. Oh well, there are plenty worse places to live. The course seems pretty highly regarded, apparently the teachers are very good. I'd try the uac site for more info. If you do a search for music at scu you'll come up with a few options to look at including the combined music/law. It appears you don't actually have to do anything, the uni takes care of it all when you list the course as a preference on your uac form.
