I think this because usually they put in a really hard perms/combs in MX2, but this year the ones they put in were standard. So I feel as if they are saving a hard one for MX1.

They also didn't have any binomial theorem last year (like proper binomial questions). So I think they will combine the two this year for a nice concluding question.

There will be plenty of parametrics because there wasn't much conics in Ext 2. And I reckon Q14 will involve a huge binomial question :/

I've found that there's generally a trend of topics that are similar in 3U and 4U eg conics/parametrics that if one is a big player in 4U, then it won't be big in 3U and vice versa. I haven't really paid attention to 2U papers so I wouldn't have in idea about that.

Oh god projectile motion. Most of the time its a complete joke but sometimes I fail so hard, like 2011....only 3 marks, but damn.

I'm hoping for a good 6-7 marks on parametrics. Locus/Parametrics is always a joke in 3 unit. Reflective property anyone?
