[Navigating the Global] Non-fiction Written Text Needed (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone knows a good non-fiction, written text which "explores the various ways of thinking" for navigating the global. I'm pretty screwed right now because I have no idea what to do for it and I have to read about it + write a response to it and it's due on Monday. It would help if the text is short (but substantial enough).

Hmmm the only text I can think of is Francis Fukuyama's 1989 essay The End of History?

Kinda short but still .... you'll see.
