is it better to fail a course or to withdraw without failure?

I do commerce and I'm failing accoutning. I dont enjoy it and im planning on transferring. I need help. I'm going to fail accounting for granted should i stick it out or withdraw without failure and catch up on another unit in the summer?

you now cannot withdraw without academic penalty... uni will automatically grant you a fail if u drop it now

At this point in time, unless you have extenuating and mitigating circumstances that could not have been foreseen, if you drop a course now, you will get 0 for the course and hence a Fail. It should be obvious as to what path to take - keep the course and make your best attempt at it.

IMO; as D94 said - just give it your best shot. Who knows; you might pass
