Need help on a few things (1 Viewer)

Okay ive got 100's of Questions but i cant remember them all so here are a few .

1. Bussiness report / Marketing plan . I asked my very unreliable teacher if i could have a standard format for either .

- Situation Analysis
- SWOT
- Target Market
- Est Marketing Obj
etc. etc.

and he just gave me a look and said yes . Im confused because Business and Marketing reports are obviously different , but he said i could have that standard format and obviously adapt depending on the Question given .

2. Case study , would Mcdonalds be a very suitable and highly versatile Company to choose ?

Er, I would not use that format or outline for a business report, unless the entire business report in the HSC is based on marketing which is unlikely as it always incorporates at least two of the topics you've studied.
Basically, the format I use for a business report is:

1. executive summary
2. introduce a particular problem, current strategies the business is using and evaluation of the strategies
3. recommend other strategies that may be better, or that could be used in conjunction with existing strategies
4. introduce next problem...and yeah same thing, metnion strategies and recommendations
5. conclusion

That's basically it, but I have no idea whether they're right but I structure my reports that way and seem to be getting pretty good marks,so yeah.

And for the case study, go to the syllabus and for each topic there will be a "students learn to:.." section. Just make sure your case study is able to answer all those dot points and you should be fine.
