For simplicity you can let u = x+4 (you don't have to)

I let u=x+4 and after some working out I nearly got the same answers as you but at the end it was still wrong...

Thanks for the quick, prompt reply, it's satisfying to see that there are mathematicians scrolling through BOS at irrespective times.
