I've been given the poem 'Listen Mr Oxford Don' to analysis and look for aspects of belonging. Any ideas? Thanks :D

Doesn't seem to be about alienation to me, more like defiance. It's like saying "fuck you" to people who try to exclude someone, condescend to them or say they don't belong because they don't speak the right form of toffee english. The personna seems to be claiming their right to belong, to speak the way they want and to be recognised and validated for that, more than claiming this right, they are demanding it, but there's lots of humour there too. Heaps of techniques, a cute poem
