How did various groups respond to Australia's involvement in the Vietnam war?
Anyone have done it before and still keeping notes for that please share it with me , because i really need it for my study. Thanks

I think you have to talk about the groups such as conscientous objectors, the moratorium movement, supporter's of the war etc.

Rakiraki is right you just need to talk about the people who supported the war and the people who where against it. Refer to groups like the SOS (Save Our Sons) and yes the moratorium marches where important as they showed the "silent majority" finally doing something.

The Vietnam war was supported and also opposed by many different groups within Australia – it brought about a great amount of media attention, differing of opinions and new campaigns. Some reasons for support were fear of Communism and the ‘Domino Theory’, Australia’s South-East Asia Treaty Organisation (SEATO) and Australia - New Zealand - United States Security Treaty (ANZUS) alliances, and belief in ‘forward defence’. Reasons for opposition was anti-conscription values, the fact that we had no business in the Vietnamese civil war, and that we were trading troops for a greater American income. Groups such as the trade union and women’s group ‘Save Our Sons’ (SOS) strongly opposed the Vietnam War while the Liberal government and most newspaper groups supported Australia’s involvement in the war.
