Hey,

I need someone to read over my half written essay on global free trade and protection. The questions is from 2002 HSC

"Analyse the impact of protectionise policies on the domestic and global economies."

To save myself from embarrasment, I will not post my essay public. Please contact me and I will send the essay over.

Oh, and I have only writte the part to impact on domestic (Australia) economy. I can't seem to find any info on impacts on the global economy in Dixon's book. They only talked about "The impact of international protection levels on Australia", nothing on impacts on global.

-the methods of protection
-advantages and disadvantages of protection
- reasons for protection
-effects on domestic economy are: on individuals, firms, governments, and general eco effects like effect on CAD on both long and short term. Write a few para's on each point..
-Then you can use general economic knowledge on the impact on the global economy, like you could talk about the relataition effect for negatives of protection, then go into why free trade would benefit the global economy.. lower prices as more efficent allocation of resources.. certain countries can specialise in certain production..
-conclude
