Im not really sure about UOC and timetables at the moment so I was wondering if anyone could help me. In the UNSW handbook for Commerce/Science it says that the max UOC per semester is 24. However it also says that:
BCom Compulsory core courses account for 18 UOC (3 courses)
Core statistics course
Flexible core courses account for 24 UOC (4 courses). Students should choose four courses from the following list:
So doesnt that mean that by just doing the commerce courses alone that you'd be doing 4 courses (24 UOC) per semester which makes me wonder where the science courses fit in. Or am I reading this completely wrong and all these subjects arent meant to be done in the first year only?
Thanks
