A keyboard with lcd panels as keys so it can ‘morph’ for different needs.

Yeah, it is. I hope they actually do make them, and they don’t cost exorbitant amounts of money.

just one thing. for example for photoshop the keyboard used special keys. that would mean a special program would have to be written for photoshop that recognised the keyboard

In photoshop most commands are bound to keys anyway. If not, it is easy enough to do via preferences or some such.

but there must be a program that tells the keyboard what pictures to display for each button if u know what i mean.
