Hmm yes, rite... purely Bitmaps and PNG's more like it mate, and you do SDD, you should know fundamentals of programming as well, as well as the fact that loading so many images into memory will kill your RAM usage!

Uh oh.

Well... I managed to kill my install of Win2k by changing one process to the one below realtime ('high', I think). It decided to set virtual memory to zero megs, and it crashed every time I tried to run something after logging in.

Fortunately I don't have to worry about 2k anymore thanks to Debian...

By the way, I recommend MPlayer - it plays every format you've ever heard of, plus a few more.

Haven't used that for a while, does it support menus in DVD's? Last time i checked, it had problems with them. I use XINE though, its not bad.

My dad's computer is virtual lanned, I don't know how its done, because its locked in a room. Hence the problem.

Its a Windows XP Pro Machine. File Sharing is good.

This is getting beyond spam...
I think basically everything you have shitted on about in this thread is 'virtual'.
Non existant in reality.

And yes... my dad helps pay for my toys :p But generally, I pay him back. I slaved for two years... now I just work part time, and ref hockey.

At $30 for 45 minutes of Hockey... well, you do the math. If most of that isn't taxed... well... there you have it.
I'm doing the math:
Since i'm sure you are the only ref that this hockey association has, lets assume you ref every game they play outside of your school hours.
So you finish school at 3:30, head to the ground and ref a 70 minute game. (Why are you paid in 45 min blocks when hockey goes for 70 mins?)
So if they pay you for half time also:
You ref monday night, games every 2 hours, starting at 4, last one at 8, because your mummy obviously wants you home in bed nice and early for school the next day...
So you get about $180 a night, 5 nights a week, $900 for the week only.
And being the only ref, i'd say you ref about 6 games on a Saturday, so thats another $360.
Lets say you take sunday off, as a homework/hacking practise day.

But wow. You must be earning at least $1260 per week. I apologise totally for ever doubting that you would have enough money to buy all this stuff.

I think more realistically, the association dishes out its crappy reffing jobs to juniors because no-one else would bother. You usually get one duty a week (two maybe).

Your daddy must get really sick of forking out so much money for you.

Back to themes:
A Visual Style is the appearance of the windows, buttons, fonts, colours.
A Visual Theme is made up of a Visual Style, backgrounds, sounds, icons.

Maybe this thread should be renamed to: another IT thread gone wildly off topic and full of bitching bullshit artists (and a rich wanker also)

Not in Linux... And thats where I generally live.

The maths is around $250 a week... But you know.

I've had enough bitching, so you know. I'm done.

Did you have a computer last year as well? (considering that the three computers you have described would all be fairly recent additions to your technological pandemonium...)

I expected you to have at least a Pentium 4 2.0GHz as well as an 802.11b wireless laptop last year.
