NINE INCH NAILS CONCERTS POSTPONED - BIG TOP LUNA PARK
Due to circumstances beyond the control of the artist and the promoters, Nine Inch Nails have had to reschedule two of their sold out Sydney concerts.

Tickets for Thursday 10 May are now valid for the newly rescheduled date of Saturday 15 September.

Tickets for Friday 11 May are now valid for Sunday 16 September.
Anyone know what the go is here? I went to Wednesday night's show and so am not affected but I'm still interested in finding out what happened. There did seem to be a few technical problems on Wed but surely there'd be a bigger reason than that?

woah, I wonder why. Heaps of my friends went wednesday night. It's pretty odd they rescedule once they're already in Australia.

Dunno if you can blame ticketek, definitely seems to be the band pulling the plug at the last minute.

I heard that the guitarist just pissed off home? Rumours abound. They did play in Melbourne last night though, right?

I wasn't blaming them, just saying it would be good to get notification before the event rather than the day after.

After a bit of listening I have come to the conclusion Year Zero is a pretty solid album

My picks:
God Given
My Violent Heart
Zero Sum
Capital G

Yeah it took a while but it has really grown on me. My favs are:

Survivalism
Capital G
The Great Destroyer

Though, as a song I don't think The Great Destroyer is that great, but it has some seriously epic production going on. Listen to it with headphones, and then again with speakers set to pro-logic mode, it's so different depending on the setup that you have (the last half I mean).

The bit in Great Destroyer at the end of the second chorus, where he harmonises it...awesome.
Year Zero is pretty rad, I've gotta say. It's not quite Downward Spiral, or The Fragile, but it destroys With Teeth.
Survivalism took a while to grow on me, butit's a great song
Good Soldier, Survivalism, Great Destroyer, Capital G, God Given are my picks

I went to the Saturday show.
Holy shit.
The set list was really unexpected at times, which was awesome. Stuff like Dead Souls, Great Destroyer, Day the World Went Away...
And of course, Hurt was phenomenal.
