who else thinks this ads are just stupid and a waste of money? The ad doesn't even show speeding, the message that it tries to send is that if males speed they have a small dick, which won't work cause is the size of your dick the first thing you think about when you speed? it may even have the opposite effect cause most guys will be like who cares and just continue speeding

Some stuff i found off other forums
There's a few things wrong with this ad
  1. The first guy isn't even speeding, he's chucking a sick skid at the lights in a family car
  2. The second dude is day dreaming about gay pornos and doesn't consider a crossing
  3. The third guy is trying to pull a sick drift in his VL with cheese cutters
Neither are speeding, and the ad is specifically targeted at P platers speeding. Does that mean that in 14 days when I go onto my opens that if I speed I will suddenly have a big penis? Also does that mean that if I now travel under the speed limit that hawt chicks will want to bang my incredibly BIG penis?

That's what they're saying in the ad isn't it? That if I drive nice and slow past hawt chicks (Whilst holding up traffic mind you) that they will instantly jump into my car and start giving me head?
Pplater chick does skid in Excel/Lancer/Civic/whatever, blokes laugh and think 'must have a small rack or loose kent'...

All hell breaks loose from feminist groups

QUOTE
This ad made me so confused I have written a letter to send to the RTA....

Dear Big-wigs at the RTA,

Recently I have seen your new ad campaign regarding speeding (http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/advertisingcampaigns/speeding_pinkie.html), in which is presented the new slogan "Speeding. No one thinks big of you”. In no uncertain terms this advertisement is drawing the conclusion that people who speed have small penises.

Now, as this is a new initiative of the RTA’s I am still yet to understand some of the finer details concerning the matter. Many of the RTA’s ideas have some hard-to-comprehend underlying issues, but for me this one takes the cake, and as such I felt it necessary to write this letter asking a few questions I would like answered.

Firstly, I would like to know if the effect is immediate on the male genitalia. That is, if a well-endowed man travels at the speed limit all of his life until one day when he misses a poorly placed sign, or a confusing speed change, and he accidentally breaks a ridiculous speed limit will his wang shrink immediately? Or is it more of a gradual effect that builds up over time? And, if so at what rate will it occur? If possible I would like to know the mathematical formula for the rate that the appendage will shrink – I.e. If n is the number of km/hr over the limit, is it a linear relationship with new_size = size-n, or is it an exponential relationship (size = size*1/n^m)?

The next thing I would like to know is if this means that there is now an easier way to increase the size of the penis without resorting to those dodgy pills that I bought over the internet. What I would ultimately like to know is this – if I travel slowly does that mean the size of my penis actually increases? And If I travel 20km/hr under the speed limit in the right hand lane of a three-lane carriageway does that speed up the effect?

Following on from these questions I would like you to clear up the issue of the sexist nature of the ad. From the campaign I could assume that either:

A) Women don’t speed and hence ad campaigns do not need to be directed at this demographic

There will be a follow up campaign alleging that women who speed have large vaginas, or

C) The RTA will be installing penises on female drivers which allow them (through examination of the current size of their penis) to monitor their speeding.

It would be good if you could clear up which of these three options is most correct.

The final details I would like you to clear up are a few inferences I have made from this campaign. Using logical thinking I believe that I can infer the following:

· Old ladies are slow drivers and therefore they have large penises

· NASA astronauts who probably achieve the highest speeds of mankind would have the smallest penises of all (however I’m not sure if your jurisdiction stretches to the U.S.A)

· Women drivers that speed excessively have very small penises, which from their point of view could be a good thing, hence encouraging them to speed.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this extensive list of queries – as you can appreciate I am quite confused over some of the issues raised by your new ad campaign, and I look forward to your reply which will hopefully put some of these questions to rest.

Yours sincerely,

Responsible male P-Plate driver.

I too am confused, they said P plater, but in every shot it showed a dude with red P's. I think the implication is those of us with green P's have the skills necessary to do burn outs an stuff ["speed"] and still retain the big penis.

Also i would like to see a similar add campaign with a female P plater trying to park and bumping another car then getting the shits, getting confused at a roundabout, or changing lanes on top of a competent male driver.

Then people on the edge of the road do the big vagina hand sign: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TfHqv8YAA9w

also, if people see you now driving slowly, they will be all like " ahh he must have seen the adds and he is trying to make people think he doesnt have a small penis! he is covering for it HE IS DECEIVING US!" so like, only a person who genuinely has a small penis would worry about speeding. So now i have to speed just so people dont think i have the small penis and iam trying to cover for it by driving the speed limit.

Anyways, who came up with this fucktard idea? whenever i see people driving like they are in a rally, popping a burnout and drifting around corners like a pro i think they must have a fucking HUUUUGE penis. You need to have one if you are going to do manouvers like that. Also cars are cool, racing cars is cool, and knowing how to handle a car like you are collin mckray is cool TO THE EXTREME.

It's not aimed at speeding, it's aimed at hoons. Speeding is just a part of that, part of the whole showing off behind the wheel thing which can prove very deadly, very quickly.

i think u r lookin at the ad too literally...
they are not saying that everyone who speeds had a little dick, they are saying that these wankers should stop trying to act better than they actually are.
i think the ad is quite realistic... i can recall numerous times where sum1's sped of in a car or dun a burnout etc and ive just been like wat a tryhard... This ads just tellin people that no-one actually thinks more of u wen u do stupid shit like that.

it's obvious what message means, but it is kinda random how a guy neglecting to stop/drifting etc. is somehow related to speeding.

It's true, guys. Girls don't dig that. The first thing I think when I hear your screeching tyres is: man can't drive fo' shit! or How shit is your car if you have to rev it up THAT MUCH to get it going?

To me screeching wheels for example does not mean they cant control their car, the opposite provided they dont lose it... shows they know the limit of their car and pushed it far enough but not beyond.

Exactly... and if you wanna agree with the advert (I dont) at least those portrayals in the advert only cost the drivers money for new tyres, compared to crappy women drivers (and even men) who hit someone then drive off!!

My thoughts on this, I get the point its quite obvious... but its bullshyte, as another site I look at put it in an article, given those situations....

* The one where the guy fishtails in his old Commodore, his friends wouldnt be having a go at him... it would be 'next corner give it abit more throttle m8!'
* The one with the green Falcon, by all accounts he SHOULD have ripped it up because there were some hot chix watching
* The one where the driver goes through a crossing... funny they show that when we see on the news OLD DRIVERS hitting people at crossings! And it was just dumb, hes in some fairy world driving in a straight line and doesnt see the pedestrian. Riiiiiiight...

They are a useless waste of money. If I was speeding and some chick did that gesture to me I would laugh because it would be hilarious. Worst ads ever.

I don't disagree: the add campaign's pretty fucking stupid. But I still think you're a wanker if you have this urge to show off your sweet skillz wiv yo hot ride. It pisses me off more than anything else on the road. And the number of people who think they're so great then they push beyond their limits and wipe out other people on the road. It gives me the shits. Keep it to the carpark at midnight, please.

Yeah I agree... personally I might push it alittle around corners (in areas I know very well) or accelerate in a straight line hard every now and then but cant say I go to the extent that the advert depicts and people that do are tools fishtailing and burning rubber (mainly cos its costing them in tyres!).

EDIT:

it makes people who show off and speed look like losers.
No it doesnt... they werent speeding, apart from the little message at the end referring to speeding going off those acts they showed you wouldnt think it was for speeding. And n e who, if speeding means your a loser, then YOUR a loser... and everyone else for that matter!

speeders are losers anyway. :mad1: everyone knows that. (unless they're speeding for a legit reason)

off topic: we seriously need a bos hall of fame, and then we need to put that letter to the rta in it. ^^

What is a legit reason?
Speed limits are too slow?
Getting places much quicker?

ok ok ok.... speeding for a "good/better" reason. eg. they're pregnant and about to go into labour, someone is dying in the back seat, you know - serious stuff....

ok ok... maybe i'm wrong, and speeding is crap anyways... i admit defeat. :bomb:

If it is ok to speed for those reasons it should be ok to always speed as long as your doing it safely.
