If you do 4 units of English (ie Adv, Ex 1, Ex 2) and a total of 12 units (ie 4 maths, chem, phys) - if Adv English is your worst, will Ex 1 and Ex 2 eng count as the mandatory 2units of english?

Yeah I think that's how it works. Your 2U english doesn't neccessarily have to count if your 3/4U are better I think

When calculating your atar they tske your two best units of english doesnt have to be 2 units of adv

I'm pretty sure this is true.

2U of english always count, not 3u/4u.

They count the BEST 2units of english regardless of whether it is adv, 3u or 4u and if the other english units have a higher mark than the other subjects then 3 or 4 units of english are counted as well.
