Hi,
i will be overseas from the 15th of Jan 2014, so i wont be in Aus on Jan 18th when the main offers are mailed...
what should i do? will they email us offers or what??
i read on UAC they said to email the institutions for someone else to accept my offer for me.. how do i know which institution will accept me anyway, ...(??)

please help me :(
i might be able to push back the day i leave, but do all letters arrive on the 18th or do we have to wait a few days as well...
thank you!!

I think only Usyd have physical enrolment where you will need to get someone to go in.

If you are going to China it may be worth finding out if the UAC site is blocked. In previous years either the BOS or UAC site (forget which) has been blocked in China.

You access the offers through the site - they do get mailed to you as well though.

In Victoria you are able to allocate a proxy (someone to accept for you) there may be a similar thing with the UAC. Obviously make it a family member/close friend so they can contact you and discuss the offers.

There is. You can allocate a proxy to accept your offers, I could be wrong but I dont think there is much point when most offers can be accepted completely online except for Usyd - and afaik if you want a proxy for the Usyd enrollment they have their own procedures for that.

Nope.

That's all you really need to bring with you.

You'll also ideally want your tax file number when you first enrol. Apply for one now if you don't already have one.

To accept the offer that should be all you need, but to enrol (specifically with the university) you may need proof of I.D and seeing as you're overseas your passport number will work, that's what I did :)

You can check online , and then accept the offer there (on the UAC website /interface).

It worked this year for me in china.
