Anyone know of a program "not taker" with the following features.

Allows for easy adding of notes (e.g lecture notes).
Allows for categories of notes.
has a search feature for notes.
Allows for notes to be printed.
Can be easily backed up.

Anyone know of any program like that? Please don't tell me to use MS Word either )or Notepad). I've tried goggling this, although just seem to be using the wrong keywords...

Word allows you to type notes.
Windows has a folder/subfolder system.
Windows has a document search function.
You can print from Word.
You can back Windows folders up on a USB.

In conclusion, stop being a tool and use Word.

So no other note taking apps? What do most uni students use for lecture note etc?

As for Saddam Hussein, I do not wish to use Word, as I already said.
