What is with the selection for the tri nations series, how can three knights make it and only two eels and one each from the grand final teams. How can they justify picking steve simpson and not Glenn Morrison, Minichello and not Hodgson or Bowen, Rooney and not Grothe etc. This is one of thw worst possible teams that Australia have sent for many years and I hope they lose all their matches so that the selectors start picking on form and not on name.

My Ideal Aus 17:

1: Hodgson
2: Williams/ King
3: Ben Smith
4: Gasnier/ Cooper
5: Grothe
6: Lokyer
7: Johns
8: Ryles
9: Piggy
10: Bailey
11: Hindmarsh
12: Morrison
13: B.K
14: Farrah
15: Stringer
16: Caroll
17: Civoneceva ( or however you spell it)

Lol, its funny how you manage to make sure there was at least 6 Parra players in your ideal squad. Hindmarsh adn Tahu being the only two actually picked as well. I agree though that Grothe should of been given some consideration.

Selected Tri-Nations Team:
Australia: Trent Barrett (St George Illawarra), Danny Buderus (Newcastle Knights), Petero Civoniceva (Brisbane Broncos), Matt Cooper (St George Illawarra), Craig Fitzgibbon (Sydney Roosters), Mark Gasnier (St George Illawarra), Craig Gower (Penrith Panthers), Nathan Hindmarsh (Parramatta Eels), Andrew Johns (Newcastle Knights), Ben Kennedy (Manly Sea Eagles), Matt King (Melbourne Storm), Darren Lockyer (Brisbane Broncos, capt), Willie Mason (Bulldogs), Anthony Minichiello (Sydney Roosters), Luke O'Donnell (Nth Qld Cowboys) Mark O'Meley (Bulldogs), Steve Price (New Zealand Warriors), Scott Prince (Wests Tigers), Andrew Ryan (Bulldogs), Jason Ryles (St George Illawarra), Timana Tahu (Parramatta Eels), Brent Tate (Brisbane Broncos), Trent Waterhouse (Penrith Panthers).

We made the GFs in four consecutive years, you only made it in 2001 and lost it terribly (with a minor premiership) so i dnt think you should talk.

Yep, because 2000 and then 2002 looks like consecutive years to me :D

To the Tigers fan (forgot to quote it) ... but I'll paraphrase: "you don't win a premiership without depth in the squad".

Ummm, hello? Did you not notice, loyal Tigers supporter that you clearly are, that the Tigers did not sustain an injury for months?

I guess not ... haha, that Wests Tigers jersey looks so fresh, clean, and NEW!!

I hope he doesnt play for the Kiwis no offence, at most I hope he plays for NZ A cause the 40 man squad covers both the tri nations team and NZ A. He's not really Kiwi, but then again Brent Webb isnt either :/

MuffinMan, you have GOT to be kidding.

If not, perhaps it's best that you shove your head under the ground again.

Where the hell have you been the last 100 years?!? Do you NOT KNOW the other major rugby league playing region in the world?

I really hope you are joking ...

EDIT: I am afraid that Brogan77 hit the nail on the head before I could flame you properly MuffinMan. Yes, it is Jamaica.
