NSW or Interstate? (1 Viewer)

I've been to melbourne uni, i wouldve gone there if it hadn't been for the fact that I'd have to spend a lot of money on accomodation etc rather than living at home. I loved the old uni buildings and from what i read (from their brochures) their science and commerce faculties are pretty alright too

I moved up from sydney to brisbane to go to uni at QUT. Its really good up here - there are less uni's so there tend to be more ppl split between two main uni's - QUT and UQ. I really like it and i think that having done the HSC is an advantage over the QLD students because they have never had to remember anything like what we had to for the HSC. They never even had end of year exams - only end of term ones! lol - dodgy school system!
So far so good up here in brisvegas!

Actually, the NSW system is horrible. Particulalry the Victorians and Queenslanders learn much more science and maths than we do. Everyone I know from NSW at ANU are behind in physics, maths, biology and chemistry - just because they never learnt what everyone else has. The HSCs only strengths are languages and english.

The thing is though, that because they arent externally tested, they dont actually cover everything.

umm i was goin to goto griffith uni.. changed to adelaide..

both cos there is better transport than where i live in NSw..

QUT - you can do a double degree if you want - nursing and public health. I think you can do nursing and paramedic too. QUT rocks!
