number of related texts (1 Viewer)

Hi all...
1. In HSC English exam, both papers, can the examiners require us to refer to as least THREE related texts of our own choosing? If so, have they ever done that? In what year(s) and which paper if you know up to that detail?
2. If the question says "related texts" (plural), and if I just refer to one related text, can I still get a high mark (for example, 90% of the full mark) or even a full mark, assuming the answer is really good?? It's not that I only have 1 related text, just want to know the marking system.

1. i think that would be a yes, i think i remember our essay on 'the truth' (frontline...) asked us to refer to 3 texts. or was it 'at least 2 texts'..cant remember

2. I think it depends on the amount of detail you go into, if u do just one but fully detailed and 'just mention' other readings or sources you should be able to get through with a nice mark.

1. i suppose, never say never, but it would be unlikely because then thereis a lot to talk about. however, some of them say 'a variety' and our teacher said that meant at least 3. i think i had 3 prepared for the hsc.

2. i think you have to have the plural, at least 2, i think they would mark you down a bit for not doing what the question asks

1. You will definately be asked on related texts in section3 of the AOS, and if you do powerplay for module C, you will need to discuss related texts, you will not be aksed in the HSC to discuss related texts for other modules unless specified (well that was what i was told!)

I would have two for both Area of Study and Module C, but the others don't need any.

I know that, but the question is, will they ask for at least 3?
FYI, you need related texts for any elective in Module C.
