guys before u start the abuse i just joined this thing and am so lazy to shift through pages and pages of old threads even though this has prob been asked before so:

i didnt do it in either eng papers....should i just give up and start applying to coles etc now or is it fine?

It only really matters if the pages fall out of the booklet for some reason, otherwise they'll use the numbers on the front of the book. Still, exam rules require you do it, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

It's sort of disturbing, the different standards that different presiding officers use. Arguably some schools are slightly advantaged/disadvantaged by it.

the supervisor wouldnt let me finish putting in my number for my last 2 pages at the end of my english paper 2 exam. bitch
so now i just have to pray my pages dont fall out from my booklet otherwise im fkd
