Security at the northern are pricks last time i was there they accused me of smashing ATM and kicked me out. They then called the police on me when i argued with them

haven't been there for a while, so I don't know who's there these days, but they do have a couple of guards that are extremely solid IMO.

actually, NES lost a lot of people in the couple of weeks of last year - no-one wanted to work NYE and people who complained were fired, lol.. i know one guy who was working at the northern has quit and one guy is on workers comp after breaking his wrist.

anyway, i wouldn't worry about it.. they probably just needed to kick someone out to make management happy, so picked a random person which happened to be you. I'm guilty of doing something like that before, haha

I dont have much luck with security - the day i finished exams last semester i caught a cab into town with a couple of mates, got out opposite finnegans and went to walk in and i was refused because "I had been kicked out of there earlier in the night" I had only had 3 drinks when i tried to get in as well.

I had a guy last night who had jumped off the train in old sneakers, track suit pants and a singlet tell me he was going to burn the place down when I refused him entry You get some real fucking hard cunts, haha

Management seem pretty excited about it... and Jason, the supervisor of security, they are expecting a big night of ~500 people at once. I'm sceptical from what I've seen

They are gonna be bringing in speakers and a electronic DJ-like thing permanently, so hopefully it'll liven the place up and bring in a few more people as it's so boring working there sometimes.
