Haha, what was that about USYD having millions and millions of dollars shells so they were gonna get all sorts of international acts? bahaha. :p

There really isn't anything major for O-Week. Mac's O-Week is the first week of classes shelley, so if you were planning to go to your first lecture, you'll kinda experience a little of O-Week in the courtyard..

One reason ours is different is that we have an Orientation Day where the mentors show the kiddies around and they get addressed by lecturers, that kinda thing. UYSD and UNSW have this on O-Week (the week before uni starts). So really, our O-Week is for everyone while other unis are focused more on newbies.

I never hear about UTS anything. Ecept they have a rowing club in haberfield. That's about all.

bB - UTS do have an O-Day welcome for an hour in the morning plus this:

UTS O'Day 2005
Food, Entertainment, local hip hop band 2UP, 2SER, Clubs, Gym Opening, Trivia, and sample bags, all of which will be followed by the After Party in the Glasshouse Bar. O'Day is your chance to dive head first into student life on campus. With over 50 sporting, social and cultural clubs on display, and information on the Union's services and facilities this is the easiest way to make yourself familiar with the non-academic side of Uni. Bring your friends and start enjoying UTS!
23 February, 2005, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Orientation/Commencing Students
City - Broadway, CB01 Tower
All Welcome

Sounds rather sh*thouse!
