O2 deficiency? (1 Viewer)

ok, does anyone know why muscles spasm? my guess is that its an oxygen deficiency in the tissue, but im not entirely sure...can someone plz help me out

muscle spasms are caused/triggered by:
stress, anxiety
a diet deficiency
drug overdose
drug side effect

um... i dnt think theres such thing as o2 defincincy mate..ur body develops adaptations overtime to deal with such things (eg: increasing haemoglobin levels in blood, faster pulse rate, breathing quicker, faster heart rate etc)


EDIT: theve got nothing 2 do with wat were studyin and are caused by those reasons listed above.

ok, thanks. its just that a couple of nights ago my bf's quads were spasming n neither of us could figure out why hehe

haha true, i just happened to be here when i remembered, n i tend to understand better in sciency terms than technical terms...like from the pe ppl, so yeah

...it was just a muscle spasm, im no athlete but even i know when to just stretch it out or strap it n when medical attention is needed...
