what kinds of books do you normally read?

alot of classic lit is actually pretty heavy going unless you're like me and revert back to airy fairy pride and prejudice and sense and sensibility all the time LOL

I like Secret History. Its by Donna Tartt

Its good if youre into an intrguing plotline/lengthy novel.

At least, I loved it <3

EDIT: just noticed the disclaimer about light reading. oops sorry :p but yeh if you feel up for a long read, the secret history is the one i would reccomend!

^^^ they said LIGHT READING!

The Obernewtyn series by Isobelle Carmody are good. they arent very big and not all that serious. great books. the series goes like this: Obernewtyn, The Farseekers, Ashling, The Keeping place.
it isnt finished yet though. im just rereading them now, i love them so much.
but it also depends on the genre you like. cos they are fantasy

If you want light reading then go with Douglas Adams. If you want psycho killer stuff that's probably trashy (but still good) then try James Patterson.

I never buy books (something I'll change when I'm out of uni and have money) and have been frequenting libraries since I was a kid. Our public library is only one small room (but I'm a memeber of bigger librarie [a lot of them]).

Look up your favourite authors and if you can't find any of them then just browse the book shelves pulling down random books or ones with covers you like and read the blurbs, you may stumble across some really good reads.
