Don't worry, GGM, some people's potentials are not realised due to immediate circumstances. DO NOT be hard on yourself! Just know how well you could have gone, and remain motivated to succeed!

Holy christ, You'd get close to, if not the top aggregate in the state!

Well done on your 100 UAI

well its good to know if you are ever stranded back in time (lets pretend it is possible without multiple time lines, resistant to change timelines, limited back in time travel via wormholes which couldnt go back to it in the first place, etc) then you can communicate well in two major eras.

Maths - 98

Phys - 90 (see english for why)

I can't believe I only got 39 for Ext English...
I actually thought I stuffed up the Legal Studies exam.

Seriously, I need opinions from others.
So many of you have done SO well! How do you think I went? :(
Average, below or above?

According to UAI, last year you need aggregate of 450/500 to get 99.05 and my aggregate is 459/500 so i'm happy coz even tho i dont know how true it is, 400/500 got you 91.05 last year so i'll def get about 95 i guess which is enough for my course and for a good chance at the scholarhips.
Is that true!?

Because, if that's the case, I did far better than I thought...

Don't get my hopes up without a good reason for it to happen, Lara!

my marks

Drama - 96
English (advanced) - 89
English Extension - 43
Mathematics - 95
Mathematics Extension 1 - 45
Music 2 - 91
Music extension - 44

I am annoyed about Music extension, considering as though the internal/external ratio was 46/41. I was also annoyed about English advanced, as my exam mark was six marks less than internal mark. But I am thrilled with English extension, as I thought I would get like 35 for it, and I am also thrilled about Maths extension. SAM predicted 98.6, which is higher than some of my friends who got ALL band 6 were predicted.

P.S - can anybody explain a possible reason for my school's English Extension 1 results rising dramatically from last year? I came 26/60 and I still got 43, the person who came 18th got 47. Any possible explanations? Or are we just smarter than last years lot?

I found a table on a UAC newsletter type thing that shows what UAI's ppl with certain aggregates got in 2003 (only aproximates)
u havnt taken into account how each subject scales, e.g a 90 in 4unit maths is worth a lot more than a 90 in 2u . that aggregate is probly scaled marks

So according to that, your aggregate is um..416 if i added right so according to this table, u'd have gotten somewhere between 95 and 98 last year
You cannot add up your HSC marks to produce an aggregate!

Any reference to an aggregate refers to a sum of scaled marks, not the aligned HSC marks that were released today.

Please don't make the mistake of trying to estimate your UAI directly from your HSC marks without the use of a calculator like SAM. It's all but impossible to do.
