Well he got arrested for drink driving back in the US, but it's easy to contest that in the states because they don't actually breath test you or something? I dunno.

The official line is still "personal reasons", though that probably equates to drugs of some variety.

I am glad that I don't have to rush to the Enmore after work, though. I was going to be one tired puppy at that concert.

Just came back from the Black Lips .. was a good gig overall but I think 2 openers was a bit much for these guys, pretty high energy performance but was getting late by the end meaning enjoyment kind of slipped thanks to tiredness

yeah, it was good stuff (biased to the dead farmers cos they're pals) but the crowd was so shitty. too much shoving and violent moshing like it was a hardcore show or something; not enough boogie. lots of people asking aloud "who are we seeing again?"; what cunts.

back was really hurting by the end.
