if i get a raw mark of failing.. its possible i can still get band 4.. true ?

Umm, yeah i'd think so, depending on a couple of things like your ranking and the scalling for that particular year. Just do your best, judging by the "Is Chemistry Your Last Exam" thread, not many people are expecting to do very well (although I'm sure they will.) Good luck!

ok.. so i think i might have just passed. but i defin failed chem of art section.. im talkin 5/25 lol

so maybe.. 55% for me.. what that = scaled ?

Untrue. It is quite possible. But you still should be willing to accept a low mark

again i repeat...last years band 5 cut off was 65%...and supposedly this year is harder so it probably is going to be a bit less than that..
however while that seems low, you must remember the examiners mark like fucking k9 dogs despite what your teachers tell you about how they 'try to maximise your mark' or 'give you as many marks as possible'.
that is a total pack of bullshit and i could smoke 10 of them per day.
