Hey guys can you give me a UAI Estimate?

These are my trial marks...

Advanced : 90/100 84/169 (mean 89)
Extension 1 : 47/50 9/90 (mean 43)
Extension 2 : 37/50 28/37 (mean 42)
Biology : 87/100 28/41 (mean 88)
Drama : 88/100 4/12 (mean 84)
Economics : 86/100 44/64 (mean 88)

My term 2 exams were probably better (esp. for 4u), and same deal for the assignments in between, though I think my term 1 and term 4 (year 11) exams may have been worse then these marks).

I also got 78 in the 2002 HSC for IPT (which at the moment will probably count over 4u)

School = Ruse...

99.3 i heard, which is so WHACK like, imagine if u got uai 98, that's considered crap

their 03 median UAI was point.one-five.

Yeah, median was just over 99.

The thing is, the school only ever talks about the median - never the mean, because ALOT of people fall through the cracks...like, I had to drop maths because the school was so useless at helping people that were near the bottom.

Last year we had a guy get 40, and another get 60. While I know that's a reality in most schools - most wouldnt expect it from Ruse

Alot of people get 90-98 ie.: the school misleads people

is it tru that being in a skool like ruse will pull up the marks of the ppl who do not do so well??

yes, but its more complex than that, you rely on your own efforts as well as your peers, check out the thread which explains it all...ill go find the link and post it later

thx, i dont come from ruse, my school is not even in top 200. most my classes are very small.
unfortunately i really have to rely on myself. in my situation, does rank work in my favour???
