I cannot get into this book at all! Does it get any better? Should I just return it to the library? Melina Marchetta's writing is so different in it!

i loved jellicoe road!
it took me a while to understand what was actually happening in the first couple of pages, but after that it gets really good. i thought it was better than saving francesca.

I actually loved On the Jellicoe Road. It has an awesome twist, that makes you go :O. I'll admit though, at the start I was so confused and I didn't get a thing that was going on. I was very tempted to put it down. Thankfully I didn't. And I also re-read it and the second time round it made alot more sense. So yea, keep reading, it gets really good.

Have to say, I reckon this is the best book Melina Marchetta has written.

OK, now i really have to go buy it; books are just too expensive and i prefer my own copy! ><
But it'll have to wait, i'm in the middle of The Time Traveler's Wife at the moment.

I had to read this twice before I realised it was the most amazing thing. Ever.

this is the most amazing book ever written!

yes it does take a bit to get into but once you do get into it you're totally hooked!

i encourage everyone to just persevere through the first couple of chapters because it really does get better...much better!

{ oh and dont worry about the bits in italics not making sense...give it time and they will }
