I bet that it's in the TOS that they may limit your speed, in fact I think I read that a while ago (and I'd do that if I was optus). So petitioning against that is really a lost cause because legally they don't have to listen.. You will be ignored.

It is in the TOS that they can limit your speed, no one is saying its not. Or that its wrong. Just that 28.8k is fkn ridiculous. Even telstra customers get better limited speeds than that!

And as for a waste of time, if enough ppl sign it Optus might listen. I'm not saying they will, but if it can be shown that enough people are unhappy then well who knows?
