Okay I am doing the option topic Workplace and am going to look at Safety for the Contemporary issue. But, the textbooks are from like 2010 and talk lots about the Occupational Health and Safety Act (2000) but this has been replaced by the Work Health and Safety Act (2011). What should I do? Would they penalise you for describing the old act?

Just use the new Workplace Health and Safety Act to stay contemporaneous.

Okay, but I don't know if I could get away with talking about all the information that was under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 but just calling it the updated act. Would it work?
