They don't show them out of discretion and avoiding defamation lawsuits.

But you can film anyone in public.

because one of my highschool teachers was telling us his family was filmed (in public) for a documentary and they had to sign legal forms or whatever
- lol he was telling our whole year because someone got into trouble for taking a pic of a teacher everyone hated and photoshopping it for an art assignment
