hey all
i got an english report complementing a speech. and the report has word limit of 400-500 words. pretty low huh?
anyway, my report is 2000 words!
i can't really do anything to shorten it since every bit of the report is as important as the other.
the contents is all gold and there is no useless information
my font is small and there are alot of empty pages (each section of report = new page)
considering the above information,would i get marked down? if so, how much do you think. btw my assignment is due this wednesday (dec 1st) so please reply asap

cut it. Thats way too long. Usually the rule is +-10% of the word limit. You're like +500%. Cut it or ur going to get crap marks.

You definitely need to cut it. Once you learn how to cut the word limit, then you'll have no problems doing it in the future. I used to be exactly like you.

If you think it'sall relevant and dont want to cut things out you can try grouping similar things together and talking about what they do in general instead of going into detail for each one.
