ok I dont want to get defected and all my mates are telling me to get some mods on my mx6...

If i put a air filter in this will that get me defected?

You do realise that these restrictions apply to those who had their red Ps after July something this year...

And what are you doing putting mods on it

pod or air? if its a pod yes. its classifies as 'air pollutuon' or something like that by cops.

I don't think that there is a seperate modification or acceptable vehical standards for P Platers, the only thing that comes close is the car clasifications for p platers, as allready posted.

I've heard that you can modify your car untill it needs an engineers certificate. I have mates who got there p's after the law and there cars have head work, cams changed, high compression etc etc. and they pass rego n stuff fine.

If your car dosent fit into those standards, then the cops can defect your car. Getting it registered is another matter, beacuse often its up to the mechanic etc.

Is their a list of like sizes for cars and their rims ?

like the standard rim size on cars?

because I have 17s on my car and I just want to know if 15s are the standard size.

google is your friend. im guessing the standard rim size for your car is 14" though, you might wanna try to get an engineers certifcate to show the police if they wanna defect it...
